About Michael
I'm a pretty experienced GM specializing in a detailed narrative and worldbuilding and also with a secondary focus on combat and exploration. I primarily run Pathfinder 2e games and I'm currently learning the ropes behind Foundry. I primarily run in my own homebrew setting called The Worldforge, it is a massive multidimensional universe with many powerful forces, from infinite gods to formidible wizards to mighty dragons and devils fighting for a scrap of control. In addition to TTRPGs, I am a musician, I play guitar and I specialize in progressive metal of all sorts. My links are to my band and guitar page, at least at the moment. I'm based out of New England in the United States, generally I keep pretty strange hours so I'm open to a lot of games where it could be pretty late where I am! I typically run games with a deep narrative, interesting NPCs and dynamic action!

I got started GMing...
Over 20 years ago, my first games were awful but I kept trying and growing as a storyteller and eventually I caught on and started improving to a point where I was having a game a week for a long time.
How Michael runs games
With years of experience, I run a fairly serious setting (though not without some levity). Very rich in homebrew lore and an intriguing narrative and deep NPCs, there is a lot of adventure to be had at the Worldforge. While I'm not great at accents I am getting better and trying to improve all aspects of my game including that. I tend to use official material but I don't mind reflavoring or looking for something 3rd party. In my Pathfinder games I like to use the Roll for Combat stuff in addition to other books.

When it comes to voices
I do my best! I'm not the best with accents but I'm working on it. That said, all characters have different inflections and ways to speak!
Michael's ideal table
Players who would fit well in my games are those who enjoy role-playing and a narrative experience mixed with some challenging combat and exploration. Sometimes we go a combat or two a session for a stint of time, other times we will have roleplaying and story crafting and learning about the lore behind the worlds.

I love it when a player
Creates a cool backstory fitting into the setting and tries to do light worldbuilding in my games.
