About Wisemode

I love DnD for the shared storytelling aspect. I want to help players experience a unique and interesting world and go on memorable adventures. I put lots of effort into making the world well thought out and interesting. I love to encourage roleplaying. I have been playing DND for over 6 years now twice a week and am excited to finally commit to DMing. I also do voice acting so I have experience with lots of different character voices. I try and make each character unique and memorable whether they are the bartender you meet in the tavern or an important quest NPC. I like running a more traditional DND experience. If you like the setting of Faerun, roleplaying and combat I might be a great DM for you!

How Wisemode runs games

I like to run the rules as written for the most part. I home brew monsters and magic items sometimes but besides that I like working within the confines of the game system. I like to roleplay my characters and appreciate it when players make decisions in character. I spend time thinking about each character's unique personality and voice and love it when my players do the same for their characters! My games will be a mix of tactical combat on a grid and roleplaying. I like to provide options so that there are numerous ways to solve any situation. I build out detailed worlds with complex characters and organizations.

Wisemode's ideal table

My table tends to be very focused on what is right for the group. Whether that is a mostly social character focused style session or a combat filled dungeon crawl I love both types of play and types in between.
