About the adventure
Curse of Strahd is the infamous gothic horror campaign perfect for anyone with some experience in Dungeons & Dragons. I do not recommend this campaign for beginners as the world being ruthless and unforgiving is very much the nature of this genre. There will be creepy music, There will be traps, and someone is going to die >:)

Heyoo! I'm Stephen (he/him pronounced Steven, but spelled with a PH (I don't get it either!) I’m a Professional Dungeon Master with experience guiding dozens of players, ranging from brand-new adventurers to seasoned veterans who’ve remember the days of the Satanic Panic! I hope to take you through unforgettable campaigns, spine-chilling dungeon crawls, and wildly hilarious, rule-bending Adventures! I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons since my senior year of high school in 2015, when members of the disbanded D&D club joined the Yugioh club I was running I had turned my club into a Table Top games club and became the Dungeon Master for those players! Since then, I have watched and learn about many other DMs and their styles from Brennan Lee Mulligan, Matt Mercer, Aabria Iyengar, Chris Perkins, and Jeremy Crawford. Combining their styles with how I like to run campaigns as led me to a genuine love for storytelling, world building, and collaborative game play. Creating your character
Character creation and party composition building will take place in session 0. As we build our characters I will happily inform the players of the conditions of the environment so you can make the best character to fit and handle the scenarios they will be placed in! We will be using Point Buy or Standard Array

Players should prepare by joining the discord server and the Dndbeyond campaign link that will be provided upon your approval of joining the DnD Campaign!

How Stephen creates a safe table
The story is filled with mystery. Trying to attack something because you feel it is evil right away or because "it's what my character will do" will get you killed. Most enemies you need to learn about either through conversation, studying at a library, or talking around to other NPCs for rumors and information. Combats are meant to test if you properly set yourself up to succeed. What happens outside of combat matters just as much if not more then what happens in combat.
