About Will
I'm an experienced game master whose been running & playing a variety of systems for over 8 years! I'm always willing and excited to try out new systems, with experience running campaigns of Dungeon World and other PbtA systems, Blades in the Dark and Scum & Villainy, Star Wars & Genesys, D&D 5e/5.5, Vampire the Masquerade. I've also regularly run oneshots of Mothership & other Panic Engine systems, OSR systems, and a tried loads of other one off systems.

How Will runs games
I enjoy roleplay, intrigue, and if there's combat I prefer it to be fast and dynamic (system willing). I prefer collaborating with my players, so enjoy when they're giving they're input to the game.

I deal with rules issues by...
looking it up in the book and then making a ruling from there. If a player suggests an alternative or feels a ruling makes no sense I consider an alternative.
I prep by
Thinking of scenes and characters that'd tie into the player's characters actions or backstories. I also take inspiration from something I read or watched that sparked an idea.
When it comes to voices
I try to do a good variety and experiment witt them but I will absolutely lose an accent and land somewhere close sometimes.
Will's ideal table
I like players who engage with non-player characters, who form bonds between characters, and who contribute creatively to the game. I frequently run for LGBTQ+ groups in my own time and would love to on here as well!

Shows initiative by introducing something about their characters connections to the world on their own and engages in collaborative discussions out of character with myself and others about possibilities within the game world.
My table is not the place for...
bigotry or out of character arguments or passive aggression. I am being paid for my time spent running a game for the collective group, not solving interpersonal issues outside the scope of the safety tools provided. In addition I ask that player's refrain from the use of AI tools.
