About Anson Miles Davis
20+ years GMing, specializing in horror and the weird. Survivor of the edition wars and supporter of making bad decisions in the safety of collective storytelling. I believe that play is a vital part of healthy psychology and always seek to provide that fun to the whole table. I run monthly learn-to-play adventures for new gamers of all ages locally, and am very newbie friendly. LGBT+ positive and will not broker harassment of any players. Air Force veteran.

My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Cypher System, my go-to generic system of choice. Deadlands, my favorite weird western with exploding dice. Daggerheart, because Beast Feast is a blast.
How Anson Miles Davis runs games
Everyone is here to have fun: The right to swing your fist ends where the other player's face begins. I want what you want: ROLE-play? ROLL-play? As long as we're all on the same page, it's all good. Fair Arbitration of the Rules: I'll never rule against you in bad faith. Collaborative Storytelling: Having started with Vampire: the Masquerade, I am focused on player buy-in and the out-of-the-box thinking that creates for fun moments. Theater of the Mind but Tactically Sound: Most of the time the only map will be the one in my mind. This will be to your advantage, as it helps remove the choice paralysis of a grid. Assume Character Competence: Unless you tell me otherwise, your character is good at the stuff they should be and knows the things they should know. Tech-lite: A discord channel with notes & voice, google shared drive for some documents. Occasionally Owlbear Rodeo for a map. What I can't/won't do I do not expect from you: Voices & Rules Mastery are the two big ones.
Anson Miles Davis's ideal table
My ideal table is a group that has bought in to whatever the game is being played and wants to be at that table. The best times are when players are having fun with the game and with each other.
