How Ty the DM Guy runs games

At my table, I love a good story. I try to make it about 70% story, 30% combat. Your character’s personality, relationships, and decisions are going to matter here. The world will react to what you do, and the story will evolve based on where you all want to take it. If you’ve got a wild idea, just go for it. My default answer is almost always ‘yes, how do you go about this?’. Being creative gets rewarded at this table. That said, when combat does happen, it’s going to mean something. Bring your brain. Most importantly, have fun, make bold choices, and don’t be afraid to surprise me.
