About Loz - Tutors And Tabletops
Hi! I'm Loz, your friendly neighbourhood dice goblin and DM. I love TTRPGs, storytelling and playing and DMing alongside folks at all experience levels. I'm based in Australia and am excited to help gamers down under navigate the world of D&D. Whether you're looking for someone to DM a full, long-running campaign or a one-shot to get a taste of the game or a special event, I'm your person. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also understand the importance of representation and safety in a space like a D&D game. I am committed to being a DM who puts those things front and center in their campaigns.

I got started GMing...
Because I love telling stories and creating worlds! As much fun as it is to do that by yourself, I got in to TTRPGs because it's way more fun to get together with a group of people and tell those stories collaboratively.
My favorite books are
- The Colour Of Magic by Terry Pratchett - Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson - The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams
When I'm not running games I'm...
Spending time with my Canine familiar (who will likely make an appearance if we play over video!), reading, playing TCGs or rewatching past seasons of Survivor.
How Loz - Tutors And Tabletops runs games
I always aim to be flexible and work with the party to bring an experience to the table that is fun and exciting for everyone - whether we're talking about a full campaign or a one-shot, I want to ask the right questions up front so folks have a great time. I enjoy roleplay and improv, crafting fun NPCs and worlds for my players to interact with, as well as combat that will make everyone feel like a hero. I also love to throw a liberal amount of pop culture references and comedy into my sessions.

My games focus on...
What I know about the group I'm DMing for, and what they have told me they like and don't like first and foremost. That shapes the world we build, the encounters we have, and what the balance between role playing and combat looks like.
Rules are...
Threats made by the dominant socioeconomic ethnic group in a given nation. It's just a promise of violence that's enacted and police are basically an occupying army, y'know what I mean? You guys wanna make some bacon?
Loz - Tutors And Tabletops's ideal table
My ideal table is a group of open-minded players who approach our session(s) ready to participate. You don't need to be incredible at improv, or voices, or roleplay in general to have a good time at my tables - if you show up interested in the game, willing to openly communicate and ask questions when you need clarification, and make a good faith effort when your turn comes up, we're gonna get along just fine.
