Hey! I'm Trisden, and I’ve been DMing D&D 5th Edition since 2016. Over the years, I’ve run numerous multi-year campaigns as well as shorter one-shots. I especially enjoy introducing new players to D&D and often start them off with Lost Mines of Phandelver, the same adventure that got me hooked on the game. In my games, I do my best to weave in each player’s backstory to make the adventure feel unique and personal. There’s something special about watching players discover secrets tied to their own characters as we explore the story together. Whether you’re new to the hobby and looking for the perfect starting point, or a seasoned player ready for your next adventure, I’d love the chance to create an amazing story together. GM Style

As a GM, my focus is on making each session immersive, engaging, and collaborative. I thrive on creating a space where players feel like they’re part of a living, breathing world that reacts to their decisions. Here’s what you can expect from my GMing style: Roleplay & Character Voices: I bring NPCs to life with unique voices, personalities, and quirks, making every interaction memorable and dynamic. I encourage players to dive into their characters’ roles, whether they’re seasoned roleplayers or just starting out. Backstory Integration: I love taking elements from your character’s backstory and weaving them into the story. You might discover secrets or find personal challenges that directly tie back to your character’s journey, adding depth and emotional stakes. Tactile Combat & Strategic Play: Combat is an experience where tactics matter and decisions count. I design encounters that balance challenge and creativity, giving players plenty of ways to think outside the box. Approachability for New Players: D&D should be accessible and fun, so I make sure new players feel supported and comfortable. I guide them through mechanics and roleplay tips, making the game exciting and easy to learn. Flexible Storytelling: Whether it’s a heroic epic, a dark mystery, or a lighthearted adventure, I adapt my storytelling to fit the tone of the group, always aiming for a memorable journey that evolves with the players’ choices. At my table, I aim for a balance of adventure, challenge, and camaraderie. My goal is to create a space where everyone has fun and feels invested in the story we’re telling together.
