Hello! My name is Ryker! I have been a DM ever since I picked up D&D in 2018. I have since fallen in love with the creative freedom that fantasy and TTRPGs alike provide. That is, essentially, what I stand for: To have the freedom to make your mark in the fantasy space! Beholders are one thing, but what kind of twists would YOU add to make your fantasy unique? I have since started a YouTube channel, The Cleric Corner, currently sitting at 21k+ subscribers! I use the platform to do flavor deep dives, explore different genres, and dig up the history for fantasy tropes and monsters alike! Even having recording a Live-Play series going on two years now! GM Style

I have been told I have more of a Director attitude toward GMing. I want to make the story matter in the eyes of the players, and constantly 'pulling levers' behind the scenes to provide drama and satisfying beats. In that regard, I will avoid a game with no character tie-in at all costs. I enjoy playing in a world of my creation in collaboration with character choice. Active consequences (both bad and good) will reflect player choice. With my theatre and YouTube background, I enjoy high roleplay, character voices, and enthralling NPCs. I also enjoy creating interesting and dynamic combats, including homebrew to always keep you guessing! I love the adage: "know the rules well enough to break them". Player review: "My only complaint is that I didn't give an even more detailed back story."
