About Pharoah

I can't stress enough how much I adore this game and the opportunity to play it with people, and hopefully you. I’m not a rule-heavy GM. To me, the rules are a shared understanding between players and DM so we can build something memorable together. What matters most at my table is collaboration, strategy, and understanding that this is a game meant to allow players to bring their full selves however that may be. My games are built for players who want dynamic gameplay. If you’re here for strategy, atmosphere, laughter, creative problem solving, and community then you’ll feel right at home. I believe comedy is one of the most powerful storytelling tools we have. The hilarious, chaotic moments make the emotional beats hit harder so expect to meet some wacky NPCs and feel like you can create that weird player you have been keeping on the back burner.I love giving players room to feel powerful while telling the story of who their characters truly are. I’ve always loved games, but when I discovered D&D, something clicked. And when I started DMing, my love grew even deeper for this game. I fell in love with it completely. Above all, my table is inclusive. Everyone deserves a space to feel safe, creative, and excited to play. *If you bring a friend or family member into my campaigns with you then you both get first session free!*

I became a GM because

I loved creating more than anything. I’ve always dabbled in writing and music. One time I wanted to get a campaign started after learning about DnD and had people to play with but none of us knew how to play so I took lead and learned as much as I could and started DMing at game stores

When I'm not running games I'm...

Creativity is what I live on. I love to sit and make music or flex my cooking skills. If you ever want to hear a song or learn how to make delicous pizza dough, send a message!

How Pharoah runs games

I lean into the rule of cool and reward creativity, strong roleplay, and clever solutions. I blend theater of the mind with on board play for a fully dynamic experience to allow you to feel like you are in the world/ Combat in my games are strategic, intense, and meaningful. to the story. Always almost to guarantee a story beat from a battle. It moves the story forward rather than slowing it down. I use a point system for cool boons for both in game and out of game. Players can expect to get a custome set of dice , a feat, a free session, and more just by attending sessions and racking up points. Expect to have meaningful rolls, laugh often, take risks, and leave each session wanting more.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...

Imagine a campaign directed by Edgar Wright and Guy Ritchie, with sharp pacing, stylish action, clever twists, and the sweeping epic energy of Ridley Scott. Also if you love NADDPOD then you will experience wackiness that is expected in a fanatasy world!

My games focus on...

Immersive roleplay, dynamic combat, rewards for creative problem solving, and story arcs for each character. I focus on making every scene punchy, meaningful, and fun. I really focus on you having a good time and being included.

Pharoah's ideal table

We laugh often, explore boldly, and take the story seriously when it matters. I encourage teamwork, open roleplay, and big swings both narratively and mechanically. Whether you’re here to tell a powerful character story, to crack jokes with new friends, to dive into tactical combat, or to experience big narrative twists... You’ll fit in great. What matters most is the willingness to be open, be kind, and enjoy yourself.

I love it when a player

Is genuinely having a blast. That is it for me and why I love DMing. The game is at it's peak for me when I can tell you are out of your shell and having fun. My goal is for us to build something we all love together.

I think metagaming...

Is fine to an extent but letting everyone play the way they’d like is super crucial. Everyone should be allowed to play how they think their character would act. But if I step away, or you send a message to someone about an amazing plan, then GO FOR IT!

I think min/maxing...

I like to do it when I play but honestly I think the most fun for me is having a bit of a flawed character. Min/maxing is great when the campaign or oneshot calls for it but being imperfect makes for some great moments. Maybe make that Barbarian with high INT or a muscled high CON sorcerer!
