I became a GM because

Some of my friends wanted to start playing DnD really badly and none of them knew where to start so I started to research and study what to do as a DM

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

Creative, Passionate, and Resourceful

When I'm not running games I'm...

hanging out with friends while working on DnD prep or creation

How Texas RedBeard runs games

I am many of things. I can do weird voices, I can make sound effects, I'll roleplay, I can do whatever the mind desires as long as everyone is comfortable with that

Rules are...

very much relaxed

Texas RedBeard's ideal table

Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or brand new to the world of dice and dragons, our table is a place of creativity, respect, and collaborative storytelling. Here's what you can expect when you join us. I try to keep things casual and fun, with space for serious roleplay, big laughs, and memorable moments. Everyone is encouraged to contribute at their own pace, no pressure to perform. My campaigns focus on rich and in-depth worldbuilding and meaningful choices. Rules are important, but storytelling comes first. You don’t need a theater degree to roleplay here. Whether you speak in character or just describe your actions, we welcome all playstyles. I use a consent-first approach. Everyone has a voice. Boundaries are respected, and safety tools are in place so everyone can enjoy the game. I play regularly throughout the week, and we try to start on time. Life happens, so just communicate if you’re running late or can’t make it. New to D&D or tabletop games in general? I am here and happy to help. I am a very patient and happy to walk you through The standar and House set of rules, character creation, and how the game works. All I ask is that you bring your imagination, a willingness to engage, and whatever tools you’re comfortable with (digital sheets, dice, snacks. whatever makes it fun for you).

I love it when a player

get into their characters, almost to the point where it makes me feel for the character.

I think metagaming...

is okay, but can't be used for the characters

My table is not the place for...

any sort of disrespect, unless it is called for in game.
