About Ronnie Hampton (TetsuPlaysItAll)

Hello! My name is Tetsu, and I am an experienced Dungeon Master for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition with over 7 years of tabletop experience, most of which has been spent GMing. I began playing D&D out of a love for collaborative storytelling and creativity, and over time that passion naturally grew into running games, building worlds, and guiding players through meaningful adventures. As a GM, I specialize in creating immersive, player-driven experiences. I enjoy worldbuilding from the ground up, designing original settings, factions, NPCs, and storylines that react to player choices rather than existing on a fixed path. I strongly believe that tabletop games are at their best when players feel that their characters matter, that their decisions have weight, and that the story evolves because of them. I have extensive experience running one-shots, short arcs, and long-form campaigns, as well as designing homebrew content, including custom settings, mechanics, items, and narrative systems. Every game I run is approached as its own unique experience, tailored to the group’s interests, playstyle, and comfort level. I enjoy learning about my players, their characters, and what excites them at the table, and I actively incorporate that into my games. My goal as a paid DM is simple: to provide a high-quality, memorable tabletop experience that players genuinely enjoy and look forward to each week. Whether you’re new to D&D or a veteran player, I aim to create a game to enjoy.

I got started GMing...

In Highschool! I have been playing for 7 years because of a random wrong turn after school that changed my life drastically, lol. Met a teacher who was dressed up as a pirate and heard screaming. The rest was history as I ended up going there every Friday for the next 4 years until I graduated.

How Ronnie Hampton (TetsuPlaysItAll) runs games

My GM style is player-first, story-driven, and highly intentional. I put a great deal of care into crafting games that feel immersive, responsive, and genuinely fun to play. Every session is shaped around the players at the table. Their characters, their interests, and the kind of experience they want to have, rather than forcing everyone into a rigid narrative. I love roleplay and character interaction, and I aim to create stories where emotional beats, meaningful choices, and personal arcs matter just as much as dice rolls. At the same time, I enjoy designing combat that feels impactful and cinematic, with real stakes and room for creative problem-solving. Whether a moment calls for quiet character development or high-tension action, I strive to give it the attention it deserves. A lot of time and thought goes into my games behind the scenes. I’m always adjusting, refining, and building to make sure sessions flow well and players stay engaged. I value pacing, clarity, and communication, and I’m flexible in how I run things so the game evolves naturally with the group. If something isn’t working, I adapt. The end goal is always trying to make the next experience better.

I prep by

I prep with detailed notes, custom lore, flexible story beats, and encounter plans that adapt to player choices. I focus on character arcs, world consistency, and meaningful consequences while leaving room for improvisation and player-driven moments.

Ronnie Hampton (TetsuPlaysItAll)'s ideal table

My table is immersive, narrative-forward, and character-driven. I focus on rich worldbuilding, meaningful choices, and emotional stakes, balancing cinematic roleplay with tense, tactical combat. Players who enjoy deep lore, character arcs, moral ambiguity, and collaborative storytelling will thrive here. The vibe is welcoming and respectful, with room for humor between heavier moments. I reward creativity, engagement, and roleplay just as much as smart mechanics, and I aim to make every character feel important to the story.
