I'm a former athlete and closet-nerd who just-so loves to play Dungeons & Dragons, and now I'm here to share the joy with you! With over 6 years of experience under my belt, I'm sure to make your experience with D&D a special and memorable one. I stay up to date on the current rules and mechanics of the game so that we can all enjoy a similar experience. I take strides to organize every campaign and session so that everything runs smoothly, there's little worse than a DM that isn't prepared! But when things do come up, I work with these preparations to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to different issues. I greatly enjoy diving into character backstories and finding what I can pull out and use within the campaign narrative, always listening to my players' ideas and finding out ways to incorporate them into the game. We all want to enjoy a captivating story with engaging characters and exciting plot points after all! I have hosted a multitude of games online for my friends and for new people who are eager to join in on the fun. I've crafted full adventures, campaigns, and even one-shots that are sure to keep you enthralled for hours. I even took a shot at developing an MMO Dungeon experience variation of 5e that was an absolute blast! But what truly makes me stand out is my passion for this game and my commitment to making players feel powerful and having a blast. GM Style
I love creating the truest feelings of player triumph through overcoming challenges only real heroes should even brave. I have developed and implement mechanical systems that abstract the very essence of these challenges in ways that are both fun and interactive to the player, helping to enliven the specific fantasies for which they come to the table to play. Combat is a huge part of any game, one that I greatly enjoy, but player enjoyment is also supported by roleplay opportunities both in acting in-character as well as supporting systems for learning about different creatures, harvesting materials, creating items, etc. I believe it is the PLAYERS and their characters that drive a narrative forward, not the GM. I call my style "Reactive DMing", where I prepare everything but am merely reacting to the decisions and flow decided by the PLAYERS. My games evolve around the party and, through their choices, determine the sequence of events. So let me know what you want to play and what you want to do in game! Nomad has always put a lot of effort, time, and love into running his games, and it's clear he's passionate about ensuring his players have a good time. His Session 0 is everything you should expect from a pro-GM running a game for the public, laying out his ground rules for behavior, what to expect from the game, and being open for feedback from the players in case there are sensitive topics they'd rather not encounter such as sexual assault.

Nomad is a very professional DM. Has a great grasp of the rules, is good at keeping the flow going, and lets the crew just have fun. He sets the mood with music, does fun voices, and does super helpful recaps at the beginning of the adventure. All in all a great DM, definitely recommend.

I am currently playing in 2 games with Nomad. They always know how to set the mood for each game. Music, images of what we are looking at, and details maps. Before every game he does a wonderful narrator recap of last session & light roleplay to get everyone warmed up. In both games he has allowed creative freedoms, with the knowledge of game rules.

My wife and I just started playing ttrpg and we couldn't have made a better choice in GM. Nomad is incredibly patient and willing to teach us in a way that doesn't disrupt the flow of the game without taking anything away from more experienced players. It's visible how much he cares about the players experiences because not only does he make sure we're all safe and having fun but he also goes the extra mile with music, voices, descriptions, and interesting twists. I'm always excited for the next session. My campaign isn't even over but I would definitely like to play another one with him.

Nomad is incredible as a GM. I've been playing with other GM's for over 5 years but with him, I felt like I was a voice actress on Critical Role with Matt Mercer at the helm. The interactions between all of the PCs and NPCs were incredible. He keeps the story progressing but balanced with role play with everyone getting a chance to role play in equal measures if they choose it. He does a fantastic job weaving our back stories into the campaign and into each session. He allowed us to explore role play during travel between towns which helped us learn about each other's characters. After doing so, I felt more intertwined into the story. The way Nomad tells a story is so descriptive and incredible! You can't help but to be teleported into the story with what he verbally paints every time. I never wanted our sessions to end and couldn't wait to start the next one. So much fun!
