About super radish

Looking for more than dungeon crawls and dice rolls? My tables focus on roleplay, character choices, and living worlds. I use distinct voices and strong NPC personalities to bring the story to life, while combat serves as a narrative tool to raise stakes and keep adventures exciting—without overshadowing the roleplay. Players shape the direction of the game. For example, I’ve offered groups a wide range of missions, some secretly interconnected, with clues scattered throughout. Choices ripple forward, weaving storylines together so that past decisions echo into future adventures. If you’re looking for a game where the world feels alive, where your decisions matter, and where roleplay and story drive the adventure, my table is the one for you.

I got started GMing...

In 2014 or so playing AD&D (2nd edition) - I didn't have anyone to DM for me and really wanted to play. So I recruited all my friends. I then moved on to 3rd and 3.5 after watching it develop on the internet. I was so excited! Pathfinder is where I went next and now I've settled on 5E.

My favorite books are

I love Wheel of Time and the Cosmere. I grew up on Dragonlance books.

My favorite shows/movies are

Breaking Bad, Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones before it turned to crap, ATLA, Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan. I'm a sucker for epic tales done well.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...

Quentin Tarantino. A bunch of episodes strung together that tell a grander story.

I prep by

Getting a list of monsters, making any necessary maps, and fleshing out NPCs that will be encountered. Beyond that I do a lot of ad hoc stuff that flexes with what the group comes up with.

When it comes to voices

I have voices for important NPCs and can do decent accents of all sorts of languages. Less important stuff gets put into 3rd person response as necessary, but most of my NPCs interact directly.

super radish's ideal table

I do well with laid back players that appreciate world building and an engaging story. There's plenty of mysteries to discover and there's always stories running in parallel with what you're up to that you'll hear rumors and news about.

I am for a vibe that's...

My tables are equal parts serious and joking. The serious moments drive the story and the jokes happen naturally because that's just what people do, it's hard not to crack a joke when it comes up.

I think min/maxing...

Is a lot of fun and I'm guilty of doing it when I play myself. Bring my your nastiest builds, I generate custom monsters!

My table is not the place for...

Racists and Right Wingers.
