About Stubble Jumper
Goodness; I'm an old fellow who likes games. I began playing TTRPGs when 1st edition AD&D was just AD&D. I started gaming again during the pandemic, and have had the good fortune to try so many Indie games, and would like to share some of them with you. If your new to gaming, I have some awesome games that are super easy to learn. There are lots of 5E D&D folks on here, so I'll stick to games that are easier to learn. We'll explore games like Shadowdark, Cypher System shorts, Cairn, Old School Essentials, and more. Most of which have free starter packs from the game creators. I'd love to game with you, and introduce you to this creative and diverse hobby.

I got started GMing...
Back in the 80s. I ran a game with myself and 9 other players, it was AD&D 2nd Ed. It was great fun at the time. We would play for about 7 hours on a Sunday afternoon, order pizza around 5:30, 6:00 in the evening and then finish off the game. Wow, seems like only yesterday.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Only 3? How unfair. Okay... Shadowdark A wonderful stripped down version of D&D. Quest, simple rule system, great fun. And... oh goodness so many... I guess it would have to be Cypher System. But if you ask me again tomorrow it will be 3 completely different systems... actually it is already.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Spending time with my family.
How Stubble Jumper runs games
For me; gaming is a conversation, I like to run a rules light, rule of cool, theater of the mind sort of game. I will, at times share a map on discord or owlbear, but it will be to assist your imagination, not to stifle it. I enjoy table talk and discussion. A big no to "All character all the time" game play.
Stubble Jumper 's ideal table
Are you willing to learn and try new things? I think that's really important. I think we should be respectful to one-another, kind. I don't know I'm open to anyone, just don't be rude, don't act like, you know the south end of a north bound horse.
