About Storm
Hey I'm Storm! I started running D&D games a few years ago and instantly was hooked by how fun, creative and impactful these stories we create together can be. Now, running games for people is one of my biggest passions in life! In my games player experience is my #1 priority. Inclusivity and Safety are paramount at my table, so before starting a campaign we'll run through a Session 0 making sure everyone is on the same page and comfortable! I homebrew pretty much everything in my games, so if you have any idea for your character, or want to try mixing some abilities from different classes/races I'm always down to make things work. Plus, I can provide as much of a baseline for campaigns as needed, but will be primarily tailoring the story of the campaign to my players' backstories and motivations. While your decisions and actions certainly matter, if you play in one of my games the world will quite literally revolve around you! All kinds of players are welcome! I've dm'd for people who have never heard of d&d before, as well as people that have been playing and dm-ing for years. Thanks for considering me, and I'm excited to maybe create a story together sometime! <3

I became a GM because
I watched Dimension 20's Fantasy High as my introduction to d&d and a couple episodes in knew I wanted to be able to do that. You're tellin me there's a game where I get to create fun and exciting memories with the people I care most about, AND roll some sweet dice?? I was immediately hooked!
How Storm runs games
I run games that will immerse you in the world we're crafting together. The characters and world around will react and be shaped by how you choose to interact with it, as I am prepared to be flexible and roll with whatever players throw my way. I will have plenty prepared for each session, but will also be ready to improv to create moments that are designed for you to have a fun, challenging and engaging experience. Sessions that I run heavily emphasize roleplay, while having plenty of combat to create memorable moments and continue to drive the story forward. My main goal is create an experience where you can feel safe, be yourself and enjoy the wonders of collaborative storytelling! Vibes at the Table -This is a safe environment with zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. -Encouraging to new and experienced players alike -Positive attitude and intentions matter -LGBTQ Ally environment <3 DM Style -You will be one of the main characters, and everyone will get chances to shine -The story will be completely tailored to your characters -I'll be your biggest hype man, and want you to succeed! -I'll be doing a variety of voices for the NPCs -Music is very important and tailored to each scene -Your choices matter, and the world will react accordingly -Combat is important will to drive the narrative forward -Creativity is king! Feel free to try things that aren't on your character sheet and I'll communicate the limits Resources -Custom maps and assets made for each encounter -Custom classes, items, spells and more -I do *not* use AI for any art or text

Creativity and Narrative. While the rules are great for having structure and game balance, the goal for my games is to feel like you're really living in a story and embodying a character while you're at my table. So roleplay is certainly encouraged, and fun creative choices are always rewarded!
