About Stazie

Hello! I'm Stazie (she/they) I'm a queer femme who has been enjoying TTRPGs since I was a kid. I've been DMing for 6 years, but have always done some form of storytelling throughout my life. When I'm not doing TTRPGs you can usually find me making art, writing, reading, playing video games, or watching my favorite TV shows, or pretending I'm a lil fairy hiking in the woods.

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

"Hilarious, Creative, Mastermind" "Imaginative, Resourceful, Empathic, Collaborative" "Inventive, Flexible, Attentive" "Vicious Little Bitch" (with a .gif of Chris Evans saying "You vicious little bitch!")

How Stazie runs games

I am very narrative & character focused, dialogue/conversation heavy, I tend to lean into the meat of character's emotions as long as everyone's comfortable with it. I use a lot of humor as well, I really like to lighten the mood when it's right. I find it important for player characters to feel able to chat and interact with each other and the NPCs they enjoy. While I do focus on the roleplaying aspect of TTRPGs, that doesn't mean there won't be fights, tactics, or puzzles! I really like dishing out fun mysteries and twisty plots. I use player character's backgrounds to create fun complications and story beats. I make interesting NPCs and I'm good at swapping up my voices and personalities for each of them! I set the stage with curated playlists, and while I'm mostly a theater of the mind girlie, I do sometimes create maps & other helpful media for my players to feel even more engaged. My storytelling themes can range from cute & cozy bookstore to deep forest fae horror and anywhere in between. and lastly, but also most importantly, I always want my players to be comfortable; safety is crucial, no matter the story. I aim to check in and accommodate any concerns that arise and I use a form of lines & veils for any sensitive topics.

When it comes to voices

I try to make differentiating between all my characters easier by using different voices, cadence, accents, word choice, and general vibe to how they interact. I have also used voice filters for things, from in-character phone calls to otherworldly beings.
