About Space

Hello & welcome! ^-^/ If nothing else, I love zombies, combat, and exploration, all wrapped in a modest layer of immersion. Growing up on RWBY, Made in Abyss, and Overlord, I'd get absorbed in their worlds, wondering, "What would I do if I were there? What would my powers be?" That curiosity pulled me into 3D animation and design, where I choreograph my own fight scenes. As a viewer, I love guessing where the odds will land; as a player, I love digging into who my character is becoming. For the past 4 years as a DM, I've been blessed to do both, and seeing each player tackle the same problem their own way never gets old. I welcome new & experienced players and mainly use Foundry (I am open to Roll20, Avrae, or even Owlbear). I have been told that I am very flexible, patient, and welcoming to chaos.

I started running games because...

It's so much fun! Being a player feels like I have a limited scope. It's like I'm an interpreter between a living breathing thinking world and the living breathing (thinking? :3 ) players. Seeing how they react to each other in real time is such a unique experience.

My favorite shows/movies are

I mainly enjoy anime. My top three Subgenres would be Survival Isekai, Historical Villainess, and Psychological Horror.

When I'm not running games I'm...

Making 3D animations of my favorite D&D fight scenes. . . . or just daydreaming while I watch anime :3

How Space runs games

If I had to sum up my games in one word, it'd be wonder: a world worth exploring, and choices worth thinking about. I want you to feel like you've stepped into a different world, a sandbox where you can be someone else, somewhere else, and follow your curiosity wherever it leads. I'm flexible and happy to roll with whatever chaos the table brings. I enjoy combat, but I'm not out to kill characters or wipe the party. That said, caution matters. Reckless choices will make survival harder.
