About Callie S
I consider myself just a funny little guy with a distinct love for telling fun little stories. This love for tabletop kind of kicked off when my GM and husband blew me and my entire table away with a 3-year long, weekly DnD5e campaign...that we woke up at 9am for and played for 8 straight hours. Which now seems impossible for the modern adult. We still talk about it YEARS later. I'm also a hobby-level artist and will sometimes draw character portraits for NPCs, or doodle my own battlemaps. I do this for the joy of the game, and don't aim to win any awards for skill level, but at least the passion is there right?! Let's tell some stories together :D

How Callie S runs games
I tend to run games with a high focus on narrative first, emphasizing social dynamics and connections. While combat may not come up every game, it is just as likely to be high-stakes and dangerous as it is to be easily-handled. Comedy and romance are always welcome, as brevity helps lighten the pockets of darker themes in my social intrigue games. And I will always endeavor to tie in personal backstories to a campaign.. that is a thing I love doing as a GM.

Communication is key at my table. I aim to provide a gaming environment where everyone feels comfortable enough to engage with the story but also to be open about any concerns that come up. Players that will fit well at my table are those that share in this need for communication but who also understand that “open communication “ doesn’t mean “above table confrontation “.
