About me
Hi, my name is CJ (or Scholastic Dragon) and I loves to facilitate games about intimacy & tragedy. I bring a nice blend of improv and well crafted collaboration to the games I host. I'm an Award-Winning Game Master who prioritizes Respect, Fun and Community above all else. When we play, my goal is always to elevate our games with a mix of intentional worldbuilding & cool game design. In less words... lets have a great time!
GM Style
Think Saturday morning cartoons. The freedom of creativity with the continuity of a TV show. I'm a Rules Lawyer with an emphasis on fun. I believe that the players drive the story and their ideas are what make things exciting, I am simply the skeleton. -Rule of Cool -Immersive Gameplay -A Great Time

CJ did a great job at making the game feel cinematic and I really felt the weight of each situation's stakes. They organized and planned well, while having a good handle on what to improv. They had several safety tools and verified each session to check if there were any changes. They made sure everyone knew to contact them between sessions with feedback/things we'd like to see more/less of. You could tell that they put a lot of effort in running the game
Great descriptions, and overall I had a great time. CJ knows how to engage a group and allowed the players ample opportunity to role play. He is flexible, easy going, but has an excellent grasp of the rules. He created a very interesting and unique adventure that had the entire group participating in the role play and coming up with creative solutions to some interesting challenges.
CJ ran a D&D 5e one-shot for me in their 'Mythos' world and what I hadn't expected was the depth to which they had developed their world, and how free I was to influence the canon already established. In this world of warring nations, each with their own machinations, and a community of bountied criminals to either hunt or join, I got to play an aasimar bard who made music for the gods that abandoned them! Great game and I hope we get to revisit it soon!
