About Safira
I am Safira Aditya. I have been running rpgs since I was in middle school since no one else wanted to run on. I mostly run fantasy rpgs whether urban or high fantasy. Nowadays, I skew more into Dark fantasy like my favorite book series, Malazan.

I got started GMing...
when I was in Middle School. I actually understood DnD 4e. Eventually, I moved on to Call of Cthulhu which will always have a place in my heart. After my experiments with DnD 5e and Pathfinder 1e, I fell in love with Pathfinder 2e.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
BRP, Mutants and Masterminds, and Pathfinder 2e BRP or Call of Cthulhu is my personal favorite system, and I am always excited to run it Mutants and Masterminds is the current best Supers system for me Pathfinder 2e is the best fantasy system I have ran and from what is available.
My favorite books are
Dark fantasy books. My personal favorite is Malazan: Book of the Fallen. Erikon's command of the English language is incredible, his world building is immense and deep, and his characters have great depth to them. Other books I like: Poppy War, Blood Meridean, Power Mage, Mistborn
How Safira runs games
I try to have many interesting and varied NPCs in my games. My worlds tend to have very in-depth lore, but you only need to experience what is needed. My games tend to include multiple homebrews that are easy to understand or are used in a voluntary basis. My combats tend to be deadly, but there is always an out for escape or a way to cheat I am very good at improvising and escalating the stakes in my games

I prep by
watching Youtube videos and reading. I run a bunch of modules, so watching YouTube videos helps me understand and digest the information. I read reviews and GM guides for ideas and recommendations I also listen to music to find the perfect song for NPCs
Rules are...
meant to be broken. I err towards what makes sense and what the rules intend. If a player finds a broken combo, I applaud them as long as it does not interfere with the other players
