Hello! Thanks for considering me to be your Game Master (GM)! My name is Ryan and I can take you on an exciting adventure! It started for me back in high school, almost ten years ago. My best friend and were always drafting up board games and were eventually introduced to tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) through a mutual friend who GMed for us. I loved how much more immersed and interactive a roleplaying game was compared to the board games and video games I grew up playing. Needless to say, I was hooked, and it wasn't even Dungeons and Dragons, yet! Fast forward a few years and after I graduated Bible college, I was approached by a group of buddies who searched for a GM for Dungeons and Dragons 5e - and how could I say no? They were the most chaotic bunch of players, we had a ton of fun learning and playing together. They helped me develop a skill set that allows for creative and clever solutions to problems in these games while keeping the story focused and the combat interesting! Through my time as a GM since then, I've helped tables develop a community aspect. Here you don't just show up and leave on time like some 9-5 job, you're here to make memories with some awesome players who love the game as much as you. No matter who you are or what you believe, let's have fun together and see our heroes in exciting action against mighty foes!

Ryan's production value for his VTT is top tier. Effects, tokens, mechanics, etc. all very nice. On top of that, Ryan's knowledge of all the rules and his quick pace kept things going smoothly. Highly rated on that part.

Playing with GM Ryan A on StartPlaying.games was an absolute blast! He is detail oriented and debriefs the players thoroughly during his preparation for the campaign as a GM before hand. His knowledge of the VTT & D&D rules was phenomenal and when blended with the "rule of cool" attitude, it made every decision feel exciting and impactful. The combat was cleverly designed, keeping us all on our toes. The VTT setup is one of the best I've seen. What truly stood out was how seamlessly I was integrated into the campaign having not been an original member โ I felt like a valued part of the story from the beginning. Highly recommend for a engaging D&D experience!

Ryan is a great DM! I have been playing in one of his games for a while and I'm pretty happy with him as a DM and the group, always fostering a positive environment , his knowledge of the rules and the campaign is great and his style is well balanced, plenty of roleplay, combat and exploration on his sessions . Definitely recommended!
