About Sarah Flowers

As an avid storyteller, my entire life has been devoted to the art of writing and telling stories. Starting with my very first introduction to playing Dungeons & Dragon, I was hooked. The act of getting to tell and live collaborative stories with other individuals quickly inspired me to take on the role of being a Game Master. While I really enjoy getting to be on the "player" side of the game, my true passion lies in getting to create and populate fantastical worlds (both published and homebrew) and experience the joy from the players in my group as they interact with those creative elements.

When I'm not running games, I'm actively prepping for them. Drafting storylines, finding & preparing battle/exploration maps, designing various encounters. When I'm not doing that, I'm either consuming stories from various media forms (movies, tv, book, etc) or working on designing a homebrew world.

How Sarah Flowers runs games

As a Game Master, I love a good mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat encounters. I like to use a variety of different combat tactics to provide my players with an exciting challenge that will test their character's abilities, but at the same time I will utilize a variety of Game Master tools to ensure the player characters live as far into the storyline as possible. For me as a Game Master, I believe that everyone should have fun at the table through a challenging combination of the three pillars of gameplay. I endeavor to make games that I lead accessible for players of all levels from absolute beginner to decades-long veterans. I like to add fun voices and accents when applicable and encourage my players to do the same if they choose to. While I love the challenge of designing encounters and storylines that will challenge even the most hardened veteran, I experience so much joy getting to share the love of this game with new players as I help them learn to navigate the thrilling journey of the characters they have created.
