I've been playing D&D and other TTRPGs since I was in middle school. I have been running games since college, starting with a Star Wars-skinned D&D 3.5 game. I enjoy helping new players find things to love about TTRPGs, bringing veteran players a fun experience, and ensuring that everyone has a memorable adventure. I have run multiple "D&D 101" games that allow new players to dip a toe in without committing to a full campaign. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, a huge Star Wars fan, and an animal nerd.

How Max runs games

-Heavy RP -Combat with extra objectives -Mutable world building -Emphasis on player backstory integration -No PVP* I don’t usually use modules; I prefer to homebrew worlds. I create quests/adventures based on my players' interests and backstories. I ask every player, "What are some of your favorite stories, tropes, and fables?" so I can understand what they want and will enjoy. I’ve run high fantasy settings, sci-fi settings, and urban fantasy settings. I'm always excited to try new settings as well. I primarily use a "sandbox-style" with my worlds and enjoy collaborating with players on world-building as well. I find that players are more invested in and intrigued by the world when they can help shape it. *Exceptions are Tournament Arcs, magical domination, and "evil twin/doppleganger" scenarios (all of which can/will be discussed during session 0)
