About Nicholas | NiK

I want to bring creative stories, taking my players on adventures tailor-made for their character, an idea, or even a passing sentence. Making the world seem larger than life, but still making them the center of the story. Making their experince there own make unforgettable.

My favorite books are

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, thats it. I dont read much...

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

Gay As Hell :)

When I'm not running games I'm...

Im playing Wuthering Waves, it's an addiction. ;p I have S3R1 Lucy... and S1R1 Luuk -3-

How Nicholas | NiK runs games

I'd say it's a good mix of style, story, and randomness. I would consider my DMing style very personable. Focusing on both the greater world-building through psychology and the interactions between each player's character, as well as NPCS.

My favorite trope is...

A twist villain. When the big bad was an ally that nobody thought about. Or it was an NPC you met at the start.

My games focus on...

Internal battles and figuring out your character's true self. Think Persona 4.

Rules are...

Important but not iron bars. More like a rubber door stopper.

Nicholas | NiK's ideal table

I like it when players aren't scared to bend the rules to have fun. Events that happened that aren't talked about once, but remembered months to years after. Fun, relaxed, Jovial time that doesn't cause stress but allows for a brief moment of escape.

I love it when a player

Bullies me. No seriously! I like it when players know what they want and will have it. Yes, be careful not to make anyone uncomfortable

I think it's a red flag when players...

When a player says they dont feel important, or that their character doesnt matter, or that they don't feel connected to the game.

I think metagaming...

Is necessary but shouldn't be overused.
