About Matt
Welcome! I’ve been running tabletop RPGs for nearly a decade and love the magic that happens when a group of players comes together to build a story. My goal as a Game Master is to create a table where everyone feels welcome, engaged, and excited to see what happens next. I enjoy crafting immersive worlds filled with memorable characters, tense encounters, and moments of genuine laughter and surprise. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or completely new to tabletop games, I strive to make every session approachable, collaborative, and fun. TTRPGs are one of my favorite ways to bring people together from all walks of life, and I’m always excited to meet new players and see where the story takes us.

How Matt runs games
My approach to GMing is simple: keep the game moving and keep it fun. I focus on pacing and player engagement so that everyone at the table gets to spend their time actually playing the game rather than getting stuck in long rule debates. I care deeply about story, character development, and the shared narrative we build together. The best moments in tabletop RPGs come from players making meaningful choices and watching those choices shape the world around them. Rules are important and I always strive to run games fairly, but I prioritize flow and immersion over stopping the game for lengthy arguments. If something needs clarification, we’ll make a ruling and keep the adventure going. Above all, I want players to feel invested in their characters and excited to see what happens next.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Probably a few different directors. From Mel Brooks, to Ari Aster I enjoy comedy punctuated by moments of comedy, but we can also run a family friendly game that feels more like a Pixar movie.
My games focus on...
Story, and mystery. I love games that players can really dig into.
Rules are...
Best when flexible in favor of a good story! They also need to be fair and even.

I am for a vibe that's...
Calm, collected, and full of conversation.
I love it when a player
Takes a chance, makes a mistake. It helps the narrative feel organic and fun.
I think metagaming...
Has it's place, can even the odds at times. However, it is best used scarcely and with caution as it can ruin an entire campaign.
