About Emma
I’m a disabled, dyslexic Game Master with 11 years of TTRPG experience as a player and 6 years behind the screen. GMing is my main thing—I specialise in fantasy and supernatural storytelling and love running homebrew worlds (settings of my own creation), while happily stealing inspiration from movies, TV, games, and anything else that sparks a good scene. I’m also a disabled streamer, writer, and amateur voice actor. Writing is a huge part of how I GM: I’m currently working on three stories for my books and three homebrew worlds for my games—one inspired by Vampire: The Masquerade and two for Dungeons & Dragons 5e. I draw a lot of inspiration from video games and different genres, and while books can be harder for me because of dyslexia, I’m powering through with the help of dyslexia aids. At the table, I’ve run everything from 1-on-1 character dramas to big, chaotic 7–8 player parties, in both homebrew campaigns and published modules. I’ve also played and run Pathfinder, Mage: The Awakening, Cyberpunk Red, and more—learning new systems is something I genuinely enjoy, and it helps me bring fresh ideas into my D&D games. Important note: while I stream, I don’t currently stream my D&D games—your table is for the players, not an audience. And yes—I’m an animal lover with two cheeky cats, Niffler and Pixel. You may hear them on stream, see them cause chaos, or even catch them “helping” by appearing at the worst possible moment. My goal is simple: help people discover how fun, emotional, and downright awesome TTRPGs can be, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned dice goblin. Thanks for reading—welcome to the Story Book!

I became a GM because
i always wanted to tell stories and so since i was little i was writing stories but i never until i found dnd and ttrpgs found a platform where i could express them in a way that i was truly passionate about
I got started GMing...
to open up my world from a dark time and i love the imagination and creativity it brings out and how it connects people together and discovering my passion for the game and being able to express myself saved my life so i wanna share that with others and make things a little brighter.
How Emma runs games
I run roleplay-first games with combat as a spice, not the main course. Expect: Lots of social encounters, both in and out of combat. Problem-solving outside the box – I love when players come up with wild, clever solutions. Strong PC–NPC interaction, building real relationships, not just quest dispensers. A focus on party bonds and friendships, not just damage numbers. I’m big on the Rule of Cool and player-focused ruling: if it’s creative, makes sense, and feels fun, I’ll usually try to make it work. Accessibility & Recording Note I’m a dyslexic GM, so—with your permission—I record sessions for my own reference and note-taking. Recordings are only stored privately (and/or on the game’s server if agreed) and are used purely to help me keep continuity and do better prep for you.

Rules are...
meant to be there to guide play but cool moments and story beats are more important
Emma's ideal table
Your Table Style If you want a game that feels like a TV series you can’t stop thinking about—where you fall in love with NPCs, panic over impossible choices, and celebrate the small victories as much as the boss fights—then you’ll fit right in at my table. I run heavy roleplay, character-driven stories where your choices actually matter. Your backstory isn’t just flavour text—it becomes fuel for the plot. Expect personal arcs, messy emotions, found family energy, and those quiet moments that hit harder than any crit. I’m firmly Rule of Cool. If you describe something cinematic and it makes sense in the fiction, I’ll do my best to make it happen. I also use player-friendly homebrew—little boosts, narrative edges, and flexibility that rewards creativity—without breaking balance or stealing the spotlight from others. My games are 18+ (not for explicit content), because I enjoy exploring mature themes, complex relationships, and moral grey areas with players who can communicate clearly and handle nuance. This is an ensemble cast, not a “main character” show. You don’t need to be a professional actor—just willing to give roleplay an honest try, collaborate, and share the spotlight so everyone gets moments to shine (including you). Inclusivity & Table Culture My tables aim to be welcoming and LGBTQIA+ friendly, and I have zero tolerance for harassment, bigotry, or discrimination. I’m always learning—if I mess up, I’ll listen, correct it, and do better. Content & Boundaries No explicit sexual content. Romance is welcome with clear consent, but anything beyond light affection fades to black. Sensitive topics (suicide, self-harm, murder, child abuse, etc.) only appear if everyone explicitly agrees, and never in graphic detail—kept off-screen or faded out. Whenever possible, you’ll have chances to intervene and prevent harm in the story. Safety Tools I use a simple safeword system. If it’s used, I pause the scene, ask what element needs changing (not why), and remove or adjust it immediately—no pressure, no judgement, no explanations required. If you’re looking for a table that’s collaborative, cinematic, emotionally invested, and built around safety and respect, you’ll feel at home here.

I am for a vibe that's...
is causal, fun, wacky but can still have those deeper and darker moments with out causing real life stress just the stress that comes when your invested in the game.
I love it when a player
uses there imagination to try out new ideas even if it not rules as written that i can say yes to them doing so i can describe either there awesome success or failure in a way that was inspires and entertains my party
