About MP
Having spent most of my youth buried in fantasy books and my later years in videogames, worldbuilding and game design are things that I am very passionate about. I began RP-ing through forums, back when those were still a thing, at first with loose systems and homebrew rules. Then I discovered D&D, and before long I was hosting my own games in the online space, participating in various communities centred around RP and TTRPGs, where I had the opportunity to learn from many experienced Game Masters and experiment with different playstyles and systems. And as the years passed, the more miscellaneous skills I seemed to pick up along the way. I went from looking for maps online, to crafting my own. From reading stories, to writing them for my players. From looking up encounters in modules, to balancing my own monsters and creating my own NPCs and tokens. Now, looking back at it, it's been over 10 years since that all started. And honestly, at the end of the day, my only regret is not having created more stories, games, and memories.

When I'm not running games I'm...
working on maps and tokens, world building the next in-game area, or playing Magic The Gathering.
How MP runs games
I specialize in running dark fantasy campaigns that culminate in epic boss battles which reward strategy and teamwork. I take great joy in building vast, living worlds with rich lore and MMO-like mechanics, and then seeing how my players choices and actions shape the story into unfolding.

I prep by
conjuring explorable areas from Lore and custom Digital Maps which I then enchant with NPCs, Monsters and Quest. A touch of transmutation to ensure character bakcstories are tied into the core of the setting and the spell is complete
Rules are...
the fundamental laws of physics and reality for the shared imaginary world we play in. They must be clear, consistent, and predictable, applying equally to both PCs and NPCs to maintain game coherence.
When it comes to voices
I am not really the best voice actor, but I do try to use variations in tonality, cadence, and attitude to ensure the NPCs are recognizable and avoid confusion, especially in multi-character scenes.

I love it when a player
is deeply immersed in the game, engaging other players in roleplay, talking backstories, and planning outrageous heists over the campfire. Or when they invest the time to craft a really well thought out backstory or character build. Or even when they care enough about the story to take notes.
I think min/maxing...
is a completely valid way to play the game, and can be easily balanced by the DM using more creative and powerful Monsters. Some of my favourite boss battles only happened thanks to my players building strong characters.
My table is not the place for...
discriminatory or disrespectful behavior, such as out-of-character remarks/comments about other players. Nor for ego-driven play, such as the 'main character' archetype. The game is a shared narrative experience with a collaborative turn-based combat system, not a competition against other players.
