About me
Ramona Simone (She/Her) Hosting queer Friendly TTRPG tables since 2017. I am an avid dnd Player that got my start DMing after my previous DM got so sick of it he begged someone to take over. I proceeded to run a 5 year long completely original campaign that my friends often still text me about. Since then I’ve hosted a number of smaller tables and games in my community and among my friends, but I’m hoping to bring my love of the medium and my passion for intricate storytelling to folks all over! I thrive in character narrative so expect a lot of Roleplay and for a lively world populated with characters from your backstory and of my own design! I like to keep the rules loose, I love using abilities in creative unexpected ways and I’m an active follower of the rule of cool!
GM Style
Roleplay lover and Grit enjoyer, I tend to the simpler side of mechanics, but sometimes its nice to sit down with a bunch of hard numbers to figure out. I love making combats about more than just beating the bad guys, solving puzzles and escaping death often feature in my combat scenarios. I'm a writer at heart, and if you let me I will Write your character an Arc you will never forget!

I have been a part of many of Ramona's games and was friends with her for longer than she has been DMing, so my opinion on how she runs games is biased in many ways. So what I want to convey to you instead is her impact on new players. She volunteered to DM for our towns D&D club when it first started, and took on a group of 6, with 3-4 totally new players. The way their eyes lit up when she described the way that a thunderwave blast threw back a half dozen goblins, or an arrow pierces the skull of an enemy bandit, or the character we've been searching this dungeon for is chained to the wall, beaten and bruised is something I'll remember until I can't remember anything anymore.

Absolutely incredible DM! Her worldbuilding has a lot of depth and she cares about giving each character a chance to shine. Really great dungeon design too! We talked a lot about Zelda and how she uses it as an inspiration for her dungeon design. Really cool, unique challenges. I'd play with her again any chance I get.

She is a fantastic story teller and world builder! Her settings are very unique and interesting, and even the side quests that we went on were very memorable. It's always good to give her information about your character or what you want out of the game as she is good at ensuring character backstories are involved with the world at large.
