About Maria
Hi, I’m Maria! I started playing D&D about 5 years ago and immediately became obsessed. I am a dice goblin, have hundreds of character ideas, and dozens of creative campaign concepts to try out. I have run games from high fantasy to modern apocalyptic, and have played as almost every class. Whether I have been a player or a DM, I have always had fun, and I want to share that fun with everyone I can!

How Maria runs games
My games are usually 60-70% roleplay and 30-40% combat. I love the story more than anything, and love players with backstories, arcs, and goals in mind for their characters. I will always incorporate your character's life into my story to make it feel more personal. All my campaigns are original-I like coming up with my own worlds instead of using modules from the books. There will be always some puzzles and mysteries to solve, too! Of course, combat is still fun - I like all my combats to be different, each with different enemies and mechanics. I also prefer my combats to be challenging, but very survivable. If you want a character to make it through to the end, my campaigns are for you! I prefer to use theater of the mind, which can be difficult for some to track combats, but I am working on learning various map-making software, so stay tuned!
