About Mike The Birdman
My name is Mike The Birdman and I'm a professional writer in the TTRPG industry (Star Trek adventures, etc) and a producer of several RPG actual play podcasts. I have been playing and GM'ing since 1992 across a variety of different games from AD&D 2nd edition, West end games Star Wars and many in the current day like Transformers, Alien and Star Trek. I am an Indigenous content creator in Canada and have begun to explore my roots as a storyteller and entertainer. Telling stories and passing down knowledge is a big part of my culture and I wanted to explore that in a different and less traditional way. I want to bring adventure, fun but also tell stories that will make my players think beyond leaving the table after the session ends. I am a huge fan of doing exciting things in games from science fiction, fantasy and horror and finding unique ways to blend all three. I love doing crossovers so maybe you are adventuring across Faerun when you encounter a xenomorph nest controlled by a lich or the Cybermen are attacking the Enterprise or Great Cthulhu is causing trouble in California free state. I aim to bring you a mulitverse of fun, excitement and wonder and hopefully you'll have a blast along side me as we travel the weird and wild side of the many sided dice.

How Mike The Birdman runs games
I am very much a theatre of the mind GM style. I do tend to favor improvisation and am usually am not caught off guard if things happen to go side ways. However, I do love getting emotional and trying to develop memorable NPCs and scenarios. We'll have laughs, scares, victories and terrible losses but I always promise a good time. I do tend to keep games PG-13 to R rated. My games will NOT have any sexual stuff outside of *fade to black* moments. I want everyone to have fun and everyone to feel comfortable. All content warnings,etc can be discussed in session zero.
