About me

Hi! I’m Mike, a laid-back GM from the UK (GMT timezone). 🧙‍♂️🌍 🎲 Like a lot of people, I stumbled into D&D during the pandemic — binge-watching live play streams and falling headfirst into the world of storytelling, dice chaos, and ridiculous character moments. I’ve been hooked ever since! 💜 I’m a newer DM who’s passionate about creating fun, flexible adventures where players can relax, be creative, and shape the story together. I focus on collaborative storytelling, backstory-driven plots, and giving players plenty of space for both shenanigans and big emotional moments (as long as you can sell it — and the dice behave!). ✨ I love exploring strange new worlds, wild settings, and stories that feel bigger than life. Spelljammer holds a special place in my heart, and I'm always excited to dive into adventures that go beyond the usual dungeons and dragons. I also love collaborative worldbuilding — your characters, ideas, and actions will leave a real mark on the world we create together. 🗡️ I run D&D 5e (2014 rules) with a relaxed, story-first approach that's beginner-friendly and perfect for casual players who want to focus on the fun of the game. Right now, I'm running one-shots and mini-campaigns to keep every adventure feeling fresh and player-focused. 🚀 Whether you're brand new to D&D or a casual veteran who loves "rule of cool" moments, I’d love to welcome you to my table.

GM Style

Expect a laid-back, story-first experience where creativity is king and shenanigans are always on the menu (as long as you can sell it in the story — and the dice behave)! I love building adventures with my players, tying your backstories into the world and letting personal stories naturally unfold alongside the main plot. Roleplay is highly encouraged — whether you want deep emotional arcs or just to argue with a goblin about sandwich rights. Rules are important, but not at the expense of a great moment. I follow D&D 5e (2014 rules), but I'm flexible when it makes the game more fun, faster, or more memorable. You'll find a table that's welcoming to beginners, casual players, and anyone who wants a game that's a little less "rules lawyer," a little more "what would make this awesome?" No pressure for fancy accents or acting skills — just bring your ideas, roll some dice, and let's tell a wild story together.
