I've run both prewritten and homebrew campaigns. One group I've been DMing for the past 3 years finally had a player step up and take over DM duties for a bit. On the flip side, my original forever DM finally let me take over to let him play a bit. I stream with 3 different monthly groups in a single, homebrew world right now. How Mighty Beard runs games
I'm a big fan of letting characters speak and determine their fates. Combat is definitely fun, but good conversations and problem solving is what this is about. I do character voices, but don't expect them in return. Not everything requires a roll, but if it does, I'll let you know. My normal house rules include: flanking, max HP at every level, d6s at the start of every session to test morale and difficulties, and not standing in the way of having fun as long as it makes sense.
