About the adventure
Jump into the world of Critical Role's Daggerheart! A brand new system that leverages hope and fear to create wonderful cinematic moments and stories of heroes facing down the darkness, and overcoming it together! This game will be us coming together to create characters and a world, which means the peices that you give me determine the threats and adventures the party goes on together! Your character will feel fully immersed in the world, as your backstory and decisions shape the very fabric of the world you play in. These games will last between 2-5 hours, but most sessions will take between 3.5-4 hours. Play will take place on Roll20 for the most part, with discord for voice chats, and for intergame communication. Play will use the playtest materials for now, and once the offical materials come out, I will purchase them, and we can decide which rules system we would rather use.

How to prepare
Please ensure you have an account for roll20, discord, and demiplane nexus. I will provide links to the roll20 and discord when you join the game. Character creation will happen in session 0, along with worldbuilding, but if you come with a character idea, that will go faster.
What I provide
I will prepare maps and tokens for players and npcs through the process of the game, as well as running the roll20 and discords. I will help you to create characters through the demiplane character creator. I will use character voices and ambient music as is relevant. I tend to stick to the rules decently closely, but I also reward creative uses of abilites, and clever combinations between characters.
Gameplay details
Players will be given a survey before the game starts to enable you to give lines, veils, stars, and wishes. X, N, and O cards will be available in Roll20, and can be used through the discord private chat feature as well. Breaks will be taken halfway through longer sessions to enable biobreaks, food, and whatever else is needed. Session 0 will be used to create characters and world build together.
