About Nanouk (Nook)
I'm an experienced GM based in the UK. I've been playing TTRPGs since 1995 when I got snowed in at a friends house and was given the choice of playing Cyberpunk 2020 or watching them play Cyberpunk 2020 and i've been hooked ever since. I've been running games since 1996, including writing adventures for LARP systems, and have also blogged and podcasted about TTRPGs in the past. I run a weekly face to face gaming club with 25+ regular players and four separate games each session. I was also president of my university RPG Society. I love character driven games, and lean towards horror. I prefer to improvise with the players, riffing off each other and building something together.

How Nanouk (Nook) runs games
I enjoy running character driven games that mix interaction, combat and exploration. I love improvisation and rolling with whatever the players throw at me. As long as we keep a focus on the group dynamic and ensuring everyone's having fun, then we can explore most things. I set everyone's expectations around table etiquette and lines and veils at the start of session 0 to make sure we're all on the same page and that everyone is comfortable, and to give the players the opportunity to discuss what kind of game they want to play.
Nanouk (Nook)'s ideal table
My ideal table has between 3 and 5 players with a mix of perspectives and experiences. I think roleplaying is a social experience and I enjoy the opportunity to learn from other people and to share as well. I love players who like to share spotlight time, who enjoy taking turns and who celebrate each others successes. I don't care about experience - you could have been playing for 10 minutes or ten years - but I love players who want to try new games, different ways of playing and who want to learn the games that they are playing.
