Greetings Adventurers and Storytellers! My name is Martin and I've been playing, but mostly GMing, RPGs since I was a teenager. It's been 21 years since I cut my teeth during the first days of D&D 3rd edition. I've branched into other genres and systems since. After college, I created the Youtube Channel "Nerds & Stuff" (link below in socials) and played RPGs with my friends in my basement to a dedicated audience of over 6k subs and a total of 700k+ viewers until I moved away and retired the channel. Now that I'm a dad, my focuses are on close intimate groups of roleplayers, who are looking to have amazing character driven moments come to life. My aims as a Game Master is to create forever memories with you and the characters/stories you create. Our time on this rocketship called earth is limited, so let's make the most of the life we have left on it!

How Martin Baker - Adventure Maker runs games

My perfect session is empowering the players to breathe life into their characters as we go on these amazing adventures together. Storytelling heavy, usually rules light, rule of cool and fun come first are very important aspects of my style. Mature tones and themes and language are usually used at my table, but I can cater to other styles as need be as well. Everyone and anyone who is willing to suspend disbelief and lean into the incredible story we're making together is welcome at my table.

I like to create an atmosphere where a player can generate moments of growth in their character arc, towards becoming part of the fantasy that they want to tell with the rest of the table. Each vibe is different with each game and group and I'm flexible to match the atmosphere. I'm looking to fill my table with players who like to tell stories more than min-max, and want to drive their characters like they've stolen a car. I love me some good make believe!
