About Max
Hey all, I'm Max đź‘‹ I'm relatively new to the RPG community, playing and GMing for a little over a year now. Even thought I've come to this community later in life, I feel like I've found my tribe. I'm from the US, but currently live in Colombia, with my husband, and have been playing in-person with a great group of adventurers here. I love creating worlds and seeing my players get lost in them. And I want to bring that passion to more people. I've explored many paths over the years, but I think it's my time as an actor and writer that ignites my passion at the table. I'd love for you to join me and see what stories we can tell together. I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community and provide a safe, welcoming space for everyone.

I started running games because...
A group of fiends wanted to start playing Dungeons & Dragons. No one wanted to DM so I volunteered and ended up loving it. Although I love playing too, I'm most at home when I'm brewing up new scenarios for my party and improvising characters for them to interact with.

How Max runs games
Humans, as a group, are natural story tellers. Tell someone a bunch of facts, they'll forget most of them. Tell someone a story, they'll likely remember it. Immerse someone in a story and they'll relive it over and over. This is what I aim to do at my table. Provide an environment where we create a story together. I'm not a rules-heavy GM, I prefer story and player enjoyment over strict mechanics. I'm down for house rules and home-brew, and am flexible on my play style based on the party.
