I'm Makoto Mifune — a GM with years of experience running tabletop RPGs across multiple systems. I run multiple games a week and stream an original campaign on Twitch. I specialize in story-first games built around character and consequence. Whatever system we're playing, my focus is always the same: your character's choices matter, the world reacts, and the best moments come from who you are at the table, not just what you can do. I run games with emotional depth, political stakes, humor, and the kind of sessions you actually remember afterward. Found family dynamics, morally complex situations, and worlds that feel lived-in are my wheelhouse. Safety tools are used at every table. Session zero is always included. New players and new-to-system players are genuinely welcome — I'll meet you where you are. I'm building something long-term here. Players who show up with creativity and commitment tend to find themselves invited back.

I run story-first games where character and consequence drive everything. Whatever system we're playing, my focus is always the same: your choices matter, the world reacts, and the best moments come from who you are at the table — not just what your character sheet says you can do. I don't do grimdark for its own sake — I build worlds with weight that also have things worth fighting for.

My table is collaborative, story-driven, and character-focused. I take the fiction seriously but the atmosphere is warm — expect genuine moments, genuine laughs, and genuine stakes in the same session. Players who fit well here show up with a character concept they care about, engage with the world beyond just their turn in combat, and are willing to make choices that have consequences. You don't need to be an experienced roleplayer — you need to be present and willing to commit to the story. This is not a hack-and-slash table. Combat happens and matters, but it's never the whole point. If you want a game where your character's relationships, decisions, and history shape what happens next — you'll feel at home here.

I love it when a player
buys into the bit. When a player asks a question about the world I haven't thought about yet, makes a choice that surprises me, or adds something to their character that makes everyone at the table lean in. The best sessions happen when players stop being passengers and start being co-authors.
My table is not the place for...
players who disengage when it's not their turn, treat the story as background noise to a combat simulator, or show up without any interest in the other people at the table. I also don't run graphic content for shock value. This is a world with weight — not a world designed to be dark for its own sak
