About me

A warm welcome dear Adventurer, I'm a seasoned gamerdad in my forties, hailing from the mystical Feywild swamps of the Netherlands. With my lifelong passion for tabletop and video games, I've explored various gaming realms, including classic tabletops, Warhammer, WoW and many more. Over the past 5 years, I've honed my skills as a game designer. With both player and GM experience spanning three years in the realm of DnD, what began as a quest to understand the game for future sessions with my young kids has evolved into a deep and abiding love affair. DnD serves as a magical conduit to forge new connections and camaraderie across all ages and borders, rekindling the imaginative spirit of our youth. Through shared adventures, we cast aside real-world concerns, embracing the joy of positive social interaction and collective fun. Please note that my content is intended for mature audiences (18+), containing elements such as violence, gore, substance references, strong language, etc etc. I uphold a standard of respect among players, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued.

GM style

As a GM, I specialize in cultivating a mature, inclusive, and friendly gaming atmosphere that prizes both enjoyment and immersion. My unique style encompasses vivid, detailed battle descriptions, challenging encounters, humor, patience, extensive character growth opportunities, rich role-playing, and the occasional puzzle to unravel. I actively encourage players to embrace their creativity and expressiveness to enrich the experience for the whole group. I will happily work with your character ideas, help set up a personal backstory and tie it into the main campaign while offering appropriate sidequests. This makes for great immersion and offers a unique playtrough. I speak multiple languages and I offer various voices/ impressions, supported by ambient music and soundscapes to enhance the experience. I offer extensive coaching and guidance to both starting and veteran players, and I'm readily available on Discord for any inquiries or assistance.
