About me
Hello friends and adventurers all! I've always loved telling stories with my friends; tales of strife, magic, and mystery that have always held a special place in my heart. I love the stories where the rogues outwit forces greater than themselves, and the secrets of magic are discovered by the underdog. My background in theater, my love of story-rich video games, and my love of reading will all be brought to the table. Over the years my storytelling style has always been about the players. The stories we tell are about your journey, about your friendships, about your foes, and your adventures. You are what keeps the story going. This is our collaboration but you are the protagonists! Mechanics vs Story I will usually prioritize the story above the mechanics, and am a big believer in the rule of cool. If you want to do something that the rules don't completely cover, we will find a way. Your Story and Experience I want to involve your character's backstories in the narrative but if you don't have time, I can do a lot with very little. I will always try to craft an inclusive narrative for you whether you're an experienced gamer or just starting out.

✒️I believe that character and story are the most important aspects of a narrative. 🎭 I prefer roleplay focused games, but I'm adaptable, and can do epic grid based fights when needed. 🧙🏻I will always try to give everyone some time in the spotlight! ⚔️Combat will be cinematic and mechanically impacted by character's choices. 📣 I will do voices and sound effects! 👁️I prefer theater of the mind, but can do dungeon crawls with maps. 🔮I love player input, it helps me grow as a storyteller. ❤️ Safety tools are implemented during session 0. 🏳️🌈 All are welcome at the table. Bigotry is not. ⚓ When applicable, I will use digital maps and artwork.

Just had my first full game session (ever) with Kyle. As a complete beginner to dnd it could have been very daunting but Kyle made it very easy for me and is such a terrific storyteller that I got sucked right into the story straight away. I love the voices and the interactive maps were really helpful to visualise combat. He's made a beautiful and expansive world for our adventure and I can't wait to see where it takes us!

As a first time DND player, I feel really lucky to have landed Kyle as my DM. You can tell he puts a tonne of work into the world and characters he’s made, he always checks in at the end of the session to see how we’ve enjoyed the game and is always happy to explain things and answer questions. I’ve really enjoyed the sessions I’ve played with him so far and I’m looking forward to many more.

I just had my first ever game with him and can already tell that i am going to have a lot of fun! Kyle is an amazing dm. He makes you feel welcome, he is super invested in his player's characters, outside and inside the game he makes sure that you are having fun. He is also a great story teller and the voices he makes are really fun and super cool!
