About Kuma
I'm a video game writer who has been running TTRPG games for more than 15 years. I love GMing, creating vibrant worlds full of life. I'm also a pro wrestler, so I understand physical narrative and the need to make things look epic. I'm a stand up comedian, so I'm good at improvising, running jokes and comedy.

My favorite system of all Time is
I've fallen in love with Break!! RPG. It has everything I ever wanted on a system and more.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Creative, Immersive, Energetic
When I'm not running games I'm...
Cooking, performing Stand-Up and wrestling atop the squared circle, brother!
How Kuma runs games
I'm an all-rounder. I love tailoring campaigns around the likes of the players. I do enjoy complex battle scenarios, with many moving parts. I enjoy role-play (I try to give each NPC a voice and mannerisms). I add a lot of comedy to my games if the theme allows it. I'm very flexible with rules. I prefer players to experiment and try new things rather than rigidly stick to the rules. I tend to reward creativity, and I will twist rules when I see fit. I'm not a Rules Lawyer best friend. I consider that TTRPG are a game of actions and consequences. You're free to be a murder hobo, but don't think the city guard won't hunt you.

I deal with rules issues by...
Consensus. As much as the handbook give us to run games, the players are, in the end, the jury about rules. If a rule isn't working and is harming the game, I'm more than happy to twist it.
Rules are...
Useful guidelines. But at times going off-course can yield amazing results. I'm extremely flexible when it comes to the rules. I love creative plays and I tend to reward them.
When it comes to voices
I try to give every character in my sessions a backstory, a voice and a personality. I enjoy a lot the chance to flex my improvisational muscles.
Kuma's ideal table
My ideal table is 4-5 players who are invested in the story and take notes. The general vibe depends a lot on what we are playing and which themes we are connecting with. Is it not the same vibe for a horror session as for a high fantasy adventure.

I love it when a player
Remembers some piece of lore I sneakily dropped in a conversation and realizes is a clue I left behind sessions ago. I might have an addiction to foreshadowing.
I think min/maxing...
Is allowed if the character story is worth it. Min/Maxing for the heck of it is disruptive, but if min/maxing is a tool to tell the story of your character I'm pretty open to it. But I'll min/max your encounters in exchange.
