About Kazimir
Hey there! I'm Kazimir, and I've been GMing and playing TRPGs for 10 years now. Like many I was initially inspired by Critical Role, and started from DnD 5e, but after years of running DnD campaigns I also enjoyed other systems like Mythras, Cyberpunk RED, Shadowrun, L5R, and even niche ones like Blood and Honour. I love making the table feel like they're part of a real, living, breathing world. And hope to be further inspired to make more as we play. Anyway, thanks for reading the bio. See you in game!

How Kazimir runs games
I'm a GM who loves intrigue, grit, and tactics, yet still open to creativity in combat and making difficult decisions. Worldbuilding is so important to me. There is a reason for everything, everyone has a goal and each npc has a deep and nuanced life. There are no right or wrong actions in my settings, only your paths and decisions which shape the story. If it gives you a better idea of my vibe, my favourite books are The Witcher series, Shadow of The Leviathan books, and Abercrombie's Best Served Cold. Also a huge fan of Warcraft, Runeterra, and Dune's world building. Videogame-wise, Ive always held Assassins Creed, Warframe, WoW, Witcher, and Skyrim close to my heart. My playstyle tends to go with the flow of the players. I always adjust myself to the personalities of the table to balance between narrative focus, sandbox and even difficulties of combat and gameplay. I'm super open to feedback and always start every new group with a beginner's mindset, always looking to learn and improve. My job irl has me dealing with lots of harsh criticisms, and I've learned its value. How people feel at the table is more important than anything else.

My favorite trope is...
Starting the group in some big explosive battle where everything is falling apart. Works every time.
Rules are...
A suggestion, a direction, and sometimes a distant dream. But damn are they necessary.
Kazimir's ideal table
The vibe of my table goes in waves, the idea is to not have an overwhelming amount of anything in particular. Lighthearted sections are fun and can even fall out of character if the group wants to make some jokes, serious and emotional sections get very intense, and a rough combat encounter to have everyone totally locked-in. I've played with a variety of groups, but the ones that it works out best with are always the more relaxed peeps, looking to have fun, explore cool new things, strategise and win challenging fights, and interact with a living world and make their mark.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Gritty, dangerous, mystical stories, that blend a healthy dose of wit, comedy and.... whimsical-ity?
I think it's a red flag when players...
want to win and succeed every roll all the time and be the best. Would Indiana Jones or Spiderman be fun to watch if they just steamrolled everyone? Even One Punch Man has low points and characters who struggle.
I think metagaming...
also has "rules" that can be bent and broken occasionally.
