About Katarina

Hello! I'm Katarina and I have been playing and experiencing stories through games since 2014! I always enjoy the time you spend when you are working together to make sure that story or adventure that you are going for comes out the best it can possibly be. Whether you are new or old, So long as you working to make sure that everyone in involved it's always the best. Games as they are are ways for us to explore those parts of ourselves that might be hidden by shame or fear. Games such as Vampire allow ourselves to touch into those shadows of ourselves and pull them out. I hope that you all would see that too if you join me!

My favorite books are

I really enjoy the Foundation Series and the Earthsea Series! These stories are ones that have deep depth and allow you to explore more parts of humanity than simply want and need! Though I would not say those are not important as my next favorite series is that of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles...

My favorite system of all Time is

I love love love the Storyteller System, specifically Vampire:the Masquerade V5, I love how active the system makes decisions and how constant the pressure of the very reality of the character and their needs. The hunger system is such a good iea and I'm so glad they added it!

How Katarina runs games

Stories are the most important part I think of a setting and a game. You can have numbers or dice or even strong monsters, But if you do not have yourself engaged whether its through your character, the story, or the mechanics, Each part of them are there to facilitate the experience. When you are working with me, We will focus on making your characters feel real to themselves and to you the player. Roleplay is just a part of that process, having a strong ethos and backstory are just as important. Whether you feel up to the task right away or not, I will work with you to feel comfortable in yourself and what you want to bring to the table.
