Hi heroes and villains alike! ⚔️ I appreciate you taking the time to stop by. I'm Kaleb, and I've been playing D&D since 2014. I've come to love this game for how it encourages creativity, cooperative gameplay, and storytelling, as well as the sheer amount of excitement it brings to everyone at the table. 🎲 My joy as a Game Master comes from having fun with my players and watching them explore new worlds and characters. 🌍✨ I honestly can't tell you what piece of media first got me hooked on fantasy, magic, and mischief, but I do know I owe it thanks for hundreds of hours of fun. Some of the works that have fueled my creative flame include JRPGs like Final Fantasy and Shining Force, animated series with incredible storytelling like Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the works of Hayao Miyazaki. 🎥 And of course, there are the classic fantasy settings like Middle-earth and the Forgotten Realms. I became a GM because

at the time, I was the most experienced player of our very inexperience band. I, however, stayed a GM because I absolutely love writing and running the games.

People are always surprised when I tell them

that I started playing D&D as a college task. Our lecturer had us learn and play the game from the SRD, to show us that great games don't need insane graphics, just good mechanics and a focus on player experience.

How Kaleb runs games

My GM style shifts from campaign to campaign and setting to setting, but these core goals always stay the same: 👥 Everyone at the table feels welcome and included. A great game starts with a great group. This is always my top priority. 🎉 Let’s make it fun! Or at the very least, memorable, even if that means a somber or emotional session. 😌 🧝‍♂️ Player agency matters. Your character is yours, and your choices should shape the story in meaningful ways. ✨ Creativity is the name of the game. Even when running pre-written modules, I adapt things to weave your character and their story into the world. 🗺️ Worldbuilding is a shared passion. I love crafting immersive settings, and even more so when players help shape the world through their backstories and character choices. 🎭 Roleplay over voices. I may not be great with accents, but I focus on strong character descriptions and engaging roleplay to bring NPCs to life. ⚙️ Flexible with genre and tone. I naturally lean toward high fantasy, but I am always excited to explore other styles like steampunk, solarpunk, or low-magic settings. It's about what's fun for the table!
