Playing since 5th grade, my AD&D DMG has hand-written name element lists from the RotK appendices pencilled in front and back covers... Owned but never found player groups for Traveller and Shadowrun. Logged many hours with Champions, Star Trek, and MERP... Then away from the hobby from 1995 to 2019(!!?) So now am back and versed in 2014 5e, learning 2024. Have Daggerheart, Candela, & Avatar Legends on the shelf, just in case. I world build when I'm bored.

How Doty runs games

Do you love roleplay? Why yes...yes I do. Great with character voices? Why yes... yes I am. I have a degree in theater with emphasis in performance. I still direct a high school theater program. I've been doing voices since Vader and 3P0 in 1977, when I was in 4th grade. And if you want to wallow in a tragic backstory, I'll dive right in there with you. Do you enjoy crunchy tactical combat? I spent 20+ years in the SCA, fighting in tournaments and wars. I do enjoy a good flanking maneuver in a melee or a opportunistic shield hook in a 1v1 fight. So when in a game where mechanics as written or rule of cool flexibility allows for crunch, I'll crunch.
