About Infinite Storyteller (Teller)
Hello! I'm Jacob, AKA The Infinite Storyteller, or Teller for short. Let me blend game systems, emotional investment, colorful NPCs, exotic locales, and sheer chaos to create the next story you'll tell people about for years. I love to tell stories across settings and systems. I gravitate to tales of the surreal and the cerebral, but I love to tell any sort of story, and the crazier the idea the better. If you love making a character you care about and sending them through an adventure that veers into the unexpected with a GM who cares deeply about player choice and player safety, we’ll have a great time. No matter what sort of game we play I will bring: 📚Well researched and prepped games. I channel my curiosity (also read hyperfixation) into research projects and make them into games. 🎭Big, colorful NPCs. I challenge myself to so fully commit to the bit that my players feel free to be silly and immerse themselves in the story. A range of character voices, good and bad, is a constant at my table. 🧙Immersive Stories. I use music, maps, art, and VTTs to help paint the picture for players and give them more to respond to. 🎉An aggressive “Yes, and” attitude. I’m here to figure out how we can tell the story you want to tell, not keep you from it. 👐Dedication to Safety. I have a “do no harm” policy for tabletop games. Your safety and comfort will always be paramount at my table. So step into a realm of infinite stories, and let's laugh together, cry together, and adventure together!

How Infinite Storyteller (Teller) runs games
I run games that prioritize players first. My primary goal is to let people have fun and respect player time and safety. To do this I: 🔍Establish tone and theme with players beforehand, while also being ready for players who want to do no prep. 🧑🏫Teach players where needed, meet players at their level of experience, and use rule of cool to facilitate the choices they make. 🌎 Obsessively build the lore and background of the world we are playing in (yay dissociative outlets), so I always have a part of the world to incorporate, no matter where we go. 🏳️🌈 Practice radical inclusivity, allyship, and player safety at my tables to ensure everyone is welcome. 🖼️ Use immersive tools like music, VTTs, and art (no AI) to help players visualize themselves in the world. 🤪 Embody unique, crazy NPCs that you’ll fall in love with (or love to hate) 🎊 Put fun first and bend the world to respect player choice!

I once ran a session...
Where the D&D characters had to navigate a trap that pulled them into a pocket dimension tabletop game. Set in an office, the "characters" were the real-life players. Each player played their D&D character "playing" a different irl player in a body swapping fourth wall breaking game within a game.
I prep by
Trying to think of as many details as possible and documenting them for easy reference. Character motivations, world lore, locations, events, and plot twists all can become parts of a Rube Goldberg machine that I can set in motion as the players begin taking actions.
My games focus on...
What the players decide to do, and how those decisions change the story we are telling.
Infinite Storyteller (Teller)'s ideal table
My ideal table is a group of people ready to have fun, make friends, include everyone, put themselves in the story, and push the story forward in new and exciting ways! I like social tables, because I think the real magic of tabletop games are the friends we make along the way.

I am for a vibe that's...
Eager to tell the story, ready to be silly about what's happening, and excited to see the results of high stakes rolls as we bring THE DRAMA.
I love it when a player
does something unexpected!
I think it's a red flag when players...
hog the spotlight or try to railroad the story.
