About Kenneth
I have been playing table top games for about 22 years now and i have been running both in person and online tabletop games for about half that time. it all started with pathfinder first edition honestly and i fell in love with TTRPGs with my first session. Over the years as a player i always knew i wanted to world build and run games but i didn't start running any games until i was in my 20s already and by that point i had been playing long enough that i felt confident in my abilities as a player. Running my first game however resulted in having to retcon an entire TPK because i accidentally destroyed my entire adventuring party with a creature that was too high of a challenge rating. I have learned a lot about running games since then and now enjoy the world building aspect of the games i have been running with players who really enjoy the way i run my games.

How Kenneth runs games
I love to tell a good story and build worlds up from nothing. Catering to my players makes me happiest when i can intentionally use their interests and backstories in the world lore itself and make meaningful. When it comes to combat i like to make it compelling, challenging and tactical when i can.

I prep by
Looking back at what was accomplished last session and doing my best to predict the chaos that is my players wishes and wants to the best of my ability and having some sort of maps ready to go if needed. That then gets followed up with potential story hooks and plot points or something crazy.
Rules are...
Up for interpretation most of the time unless they are worded in a very concrete way.
When it comes to voices
I try my best to do them when i can but i am not perfect at them by any means. I feel like i have personally gotten much better at them than when i first started but there is always room for improvement.
Kenneth's ideal table
I like a table of players that are fun and adventurous, people who are not afraid to be themselves and put as much as they want into their characters.

I love it when a player
Manages to find a link to something from 20+ sessions ago and feels the "AHA" moment. Everything slides into place for them and then its up to them to RP the realization of the link from who knows how long ago in game it was but its always exciting for me.
I think min/maxing...
is perfectly fine and honestly sometimes makes for the best characters and even if the character overall performs well in some areas i know it cant perform well in every area. So in that regard its fine in my book if people want to do that.
My perfect party mix is
A well rounded balance of casters, martials, and martial/half casters. No one needs to be perfect at everything but at least role play your character so that you have fun.
