About Henry
Hi, whoever is reading this! I'm Henrique, but you can call me Henry to make it easier lol. I've been DMing TTRPGs since I was 13, with d&d 3.5; I've been DMing 5e since its release and I've been wanting to make this hobby into something for the past year and a half, be it with live plays or this. So, if you're considering making a part of this dream a reality, thank you so much alredy.

I became a GM because
I like to tell stories. I think GMing is so unique and it scratches that creative itch like nothing I've ever did because the story you're telling is not only your own. Every player can and will change the world, and that type of story is really special.
My favorite books are
A Feats for Crows (The whole ASOIAF series is great, but AFFC is still my favorite); All Star Superman (yes, it counts!) And the Dragonlance series
My favorite system of all Time is
3.5 dnd, but boy is it hard to run lol
How Henry runs games
My style of gming is primarily roleplay heavy , but I like to give a lot of freedom to my players, so my games usually are kind of like a sandbox campaign with a main goal but a rich world to provide ample roleplay opportunities. My major is in history and I did theatre, so worldbuilding and roleplay are both essential to me.

I prep by
Researching historical events applicable to the setting we're in, writing about cool locations you guys can visit in your travels, writing a skeleton of the story then writing a skeleton of each session only to use maybe 10% of what I wrote in the actual game lol
Rules are...
Important, but between the rules and the table's enjoyment, I'll always pick the latter. If you want to do something cool, just do the cool thing and I'll figure out a way for you to do it.
When it comes to voices
I like to give each character their own personality, but be prepared for them having a bit of a brazillian accent lol. If you do voices good, if you don't feel comfortable just use your own, it's fine.
Henry's ideal table
Right. My table is certainly roleplay heavy, I'm looking for players that can throw themselves in a setting. I would say my lists of priorities is: 1 - the players and their choices, how that character fits and changes the world; 2 - the setting itself, how it responds to the player choices (this include exploration and the sandbox aspect of my games) 3 - combat as a consequence of this back and forward. If the prospect of a session completely focused on roleplay isn't interesting to you, maybe my tables aren't what you're looking for.
