About GothMoogle (Bill)
Table top gamer for 26 years, started with AD&D 2nd edition. I have tried multiple systems over the years, running the gambit from AD&D to World of Darkness and the systems in between like Call of Cthulhu and even obscure one off games like the D20 Slayers anime based game. I have run in person for much of my time but have spent the last ten years on Roll20. My current favorite systems are D&D 5.5e (2024), Call of Cthulhu, and Fabula Ultima. One of my hobbies is collecting 3rd party D&D books.

How GothMoogle (Bill) runs games
I am a roleplay heavy game master with combats that run on the narrative side while being tailored to the players. I can run simple fights or tactics heavy combats. I rarely run random encounters unless it has a story purpose. My games often have at least one combat every two to three sessions. I like to craft stories around the PC's backstory and their goals and give everyone their story arc.
GothMoogle (Bill)'s ideal table
I like a table that focuses on cooperative story telling, the rule of cool, and roleplay heavy sessions. The kinds of players that do well at my table are chill, creative, and friendly types that want everyone at the table to have fun. I don't believe in the idea of player vs. GM mentality and strive to ensure everyone is enjoying the game. If you like a chill table that moves at it's own pace and everything in its time where everyone gets their time to shine, this might be the table for you.
