Hello! I am GoldenSpider, you may call me gold, spider, spidey, whatever you prefer really. I am a 27-year old Male living in the Midwest US. I've been playing and DM/GMing games for 10 years. I love TTRPGs and nerd culture in general, from MCU to Star Trek, Last of Us to Sid Meier's Civilization. As a DM/GM I bring an intricate and expansive experience, custom made for you the player. with Custom and detailed worlds, NPCs, and plot hooks designed for your backstories. I also bring detailed and professional maps, some created myself and some also from professional map makers that I have paid for. You will also be getting professional quality music. I've spent over hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket for TTRPGs, and that was before I ever considered being a "professional" or "paid-for" GM. I just love the game that much!

I once ran a session...
I made a homebrew feat for a Dhampir character who wanted a "temptation" arc. that would make her roll a save in stressful situations that if failed would make her bite anyone nearby, even an ally! It happened in a tense combat and she bit a PC in view of the rest of the party. led to some fun RP

Guidelines. They help us tell the story we want to tell as a table, but should not stand in the way of it.

My ideal table is one that is open to whatever may happen, open to failure and open to how that may shape the story. It is engaged and interested in the story and plot My Table is forever and always LGBTQ+ Friendly, Queer Friendly, Trans Friendly and Disabled friendly. Also friendly to anyone who is not a dick, and who comes open and ready to have a good time and be invested.

Comes up with something that I didn't consider, or dont have a plan for. It leads to some very fun moments and being on my toes in a very satisfying way.

Should be avoided, but its sometimes necessary. sometimes you will just need to magically know that the rest of the party is in trouble so you dont just sit there the whole combat bored.
I think min/maxing...
is to be avoided. being great at one specific thing can be fun. But failure is also fun! It can lead to great moments in the story and at the table. I once had a Min/Maxed player with a 21 AC at level 3. It was so boring. he would just stand in the middle of the battle dodging and absorbing hits
